Critical Arch Services is a management resource and integration company specializing in bulk material handling and storage applications. Critical Arch Services utilizes our broad material knowledge to keep your bulk material projects moving. With a 30 year history and handling hundreds of stored products, we leverage our experience to assist you with your material handling projects.
Our Name
In bulk material storage, arching is a condition whereby bulk material forms a stable bridge or “arch” over an opening resulting in a no-flow condition. The critical arch dimension of a stored product is the material’s opening size required to keep the material reliably flowing - avoiding arching/bridging and unreliable flow conditions naturally caused by its cohesive properties
Our Experience
Critical Arch Services founder and owner Brent Robertson has been in involved with bulk materials since 1993.
An early member of Tank Connection, a storage tank and silo manufacturer, he was an integral member of its beginning success and continued growth as a preferred storage manufacturer.
Brent was the foundation for the development of the early project management, engineering infrastructure and was involved in new product line and infrastructure development as well as high risk applications.
He served as Dry Bulk Market Director for many years and assisted clients with material handling applications. With experience in design, manufacturing and construction processes, Brent has been involved with storing hundreds of types of bulk products.
He is frequently involved with application development for clients – assisting with solution options that are more readily manufactured and economically advantageous for their project.
Brent has been a past speaker at Industrial Minerals Association and Powder and Bulk Solids Conferences.
